ML4MatSci: Hands-on Machine Learning for Materials Science (June 10–12, 2026)  | EuMINe 2nd Training School

We are pleased to share an exciting opportunity that may be of interest to students, researchers, and practitioners working at the intersection of machine learning, data science, and scientific discovery.

The EuMINe 2nd Training School, titled “ML4MatSci: Hands-on Machine Learning for Research in Materials Sciences”, will take place in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, from June 10–12, 2026.

This school is designed to equip current and prospective PhD students, as well as early-career researchers, with advanced knowledge and practical hands-on experience in applying machine learning methods to **materials science and materials informatics**.

The program includes:

  • expert lectures from leading researchers
  • interactive tutorials
  • collaborative discussions
  • hands-on practical sessions

with the goal of helping participants effectively integrate AI and data-driven methods into scientific workflows.

We would be especially delighted to welcome women researchers and students in machine learning and AI who are interested in interdisciplinary applications and scientific innovation.
