BALKANIJADA 2019: The University of Sarajevo and the University of Tuzla are the most successful

This year, the Student Parliament of the University of Tuzla organized the fourth regional inter-university sports event “Balkanijada”, which was attended by students from several universities and Faculties from the Balkans. This year, the “Balkanijada 2019” gathered aprox. 300 students from 11 universities:

“Džemal Bijedić” University of Mostar,
University of Zenica,
University of Bihać,
University in Sarajevo,
University of East Sarajevo,
University in Mostar,
University in Belgrade,
IPI Academy Tuzla,
eMPIRICA,
International University Novi Pazar,
University of Tuzla.

The “Balkanijada 2019” event included the following sports:

Futsal (team men)
Basketball (team men)
Volleyball (team girls and men)
Table tennis (men's competition)
Athletics (100m and 400m - male and female competition)
Chess

1st place: University of Sarajevo - 21 points
2nd place: University of Tuzla - 21 points
3rd place: IPI Academy - 7 points
4th place: University of East Sarajevo - 6 points
5th Place: “Džemal Bijedić” University of Mostar and University of Mostar - 4 points
6th place: University of Belgrade - 2 points
7th place: University of Novi Pazar - 0 points
