International Relations

The International Relations Office of the University of Sarajevo is a central office with headquarters in the Rectorate. It was founded to coordinate activities and develop international relations with partner universities and other teachings, educational and research institutions and cooperation networks from Europe and the world.

Our mission is to strengthen the internationalization of the University of Sarajevo by presenting this institution as a modern university of European quality.

Our values are reflected in the tradition of international cooperation, the culture of openness towards international students, teachers and collaborators in the region, but also beyond (several hundred international students, teaching and non-teaching staff visit UNSA cooperation every year), promoting the value of international collaboration among students, teachers and associates of this university and promotion of the diversity of study programs.

Our vision is reflected through the strengthening of leadership in international cooperation. UNSA has over 500 cooperation agreements (bilateral and through a program/project) with higher education institutions worldwide and membership in several important international organizations and networks. It is expected to have intensified mobility, enabling our students, teachers and associates to seek their quality internationally and improve through such contacts.
