Cooperation Intensifying between the University of Sarajevo and the University of Belgrade
Vice Rector for International Cooperation of the University of Belgrade, Prof. Dr. Ratko Ristić visited the University of Sarajevo today, where he met with UNSA Rector, Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Enita Nakaš, Vice-Rector for Research, Prof. Dr. Mirza Dautbašić and Vice Dean for Scientific Research and Finance of the Faculty of Forestry UNSA, Prof. Dr. Muhamed Bajrić.
During the meeting, they discussed the current situation in the field of higher education, as well as the possibilities of improving cooperation between the University of Sarajevo and the University of Belgrade, and stressed the importance of exchanging ideas and establishing new joint projects.
During the conversation, it was pointed out that the University of Sarajevo fosters cooperation with many higher education institutions around the world through various programs, projects, associations, as well as bilateral cooperation, and emphasized the extremely successful cooperation with the University of Belgrade through various projects staff, as well as through the Rectors' Forum of Southeast Europe and the Western Balkans.
It was pointed out that quality education is a key element for the success and development of each country, and the meeting ended with a strong mutual interest in intensifying academic and scientific cooperation between the University of Sarajevo and the University of Belgrade.
