The 12th International Symposium “New Technologies in Sport - NTS 2021” successfully realized
The Faculty of Sports and Physical Education, University of Sarajevo successfully realized the 12th International Symposium “New Technologies in Sports - NTS 2021,” which was held from 15 to 17 December 2021 online. Participants, guests and other sports fans had the opportunity to follow the Symposium live through the official YouTube channel. The symposium was opened by Faculty of Sports and Physical Education, University of Sarajevo, Dean Prof. Dr. Haris Alić, NTS Organizing Committee President, Prof. Dr. Eldin Jelešković, University of Sarajevo Rector, Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj and the Minister of Culture and Sports of KS, Mr. Samir Avdić.
After the opening of the Symposium and the address by the University Rector and the Minister of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton, plenary presentations of related faculties from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region followed: “Technologies and trends in education and sports during the COVID 19 pandemic.” The Faculty of Sports and Physical Education, University of Sarajevo has a long tradition of organizing this event, which this time brought together researchers, educators, sports workers, students and all interested parties who had the opportunity to share their knowledge, experiences and ideas. Symposium participants had the opportunity to hear excellent lectures by invited lecturers from the region who spoke on current topics in kinesiology and entrepreneurship in sports, as well as topics covered by the way of work during the pandemic COVID 19. On the second day of the Symposium Three sessions were organized entitled: “Development of healthy living habits, sports, recreation and tourism and entrepreneurship in sports.”
This year's 12th International Symposium was organized with the aim of bringing together previous experiences and covering a wide range of scientific and research fields in sports. The symposium was focused on healthy living habits, sports, recreation and tourism, and entrepreneurship in sports.
Since the beginning of the idea and organization of the 1st International Symposium “New Technologies in Sports - NTS 2005” organized by the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education, University of Sarajevo is dedicated to establishing and strengthening new methods and technologies in sports, and in the last 16 years in the field of sports and science, giving his contribution to the development of research and scientific work in sports.
