University Of Sarajevo Faculty of Civil Engineering Students Successful at This Year's Građevinijada
UNSA Faculty of Civil Engineering students won the first prize at the 45th Građevinijada, for the first time in the history of that event. Namely, this success is significant because this is the first time that a University of Sarajevo Faculty and also from Bosnia and Herzegovina to win the first place in events of a similar character.
Građevinijada is an event that brings together Civil Engineering students from the former Yugoslav countries once a year: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia and Macedonia, and occasionally participated in several Faculties from other countries such as: Romania, Bulgaria, and Germany. Each year 1000 to 1500 students take part in the event.
This year's organizer of Construction was the Association of Students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Belgrade, and it was held on the Black Sea in Sunčev Breg. The event has a tradition of several decades, and this year was held for the 45th time. Last year's event, held in Budva, was the Association of Students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Sarajevo (SAGF), where students of this Faculty, besides their talent in knowledge and sport, showed excellent organizational skills.
At this year's Građevinijada 2018, the UNSA Faculty of Civil Engineering won 16 medals (out of a total of 21), setting the record for this competition. Nine were first places, 4 second and 3 third places. In the knowledge quiz they won medals from all 11 items, of which even 8 were golden. In the sporting part of the competition they won 5 medals (out of 10), of which one is 1st, one 2nd and 3rd third places.
