We Present Genetics & Applications Scientific Journal

The Genetics & Applications (G&A, www.genapp.ba) is the official scientific journal published by the Institute for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (www.ingeb.unsa.ba), University of Sarajevo. G&A publishes unpublished research results as original scientific papers from the following areas:

•    cytogenetics,
•    Human, plant and animal genetics,
•    medical genetics,
•    population genetics,
•    Conservation genetics,
•    genomics and functional genetics,
•    genetic engineering,
•    biotechnology i
•    bioinformatics.

The G&A’s editorial board consists of famous and renowned names from the field of genetics from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the world with affirmed international credibility, from all areas of fundamental and applied genetics. Editorial board chairman is Prof. Dr. Rifat Hadžiselimović, University of Sarajevo professor emeritus, scientific adviser to the Institute, founder and long-time director of the Institute.
