University of Sarajevo Professors Fikret Karčić and Enes Karić Received Awards

In the University of Istanbul Rectorate’s Ceremonial Hall, the Association of Muslim Social Scientists of the United Kingdom (AMSS UK) on July 11, 2019, bestowed award for the lifetime achievement to Prof. Fikret Karčić (University of Sarajevo Faculty of Law and Enes Karić (University of Sarajevo Faculty of Islamic Sciences) Dr. Anas S. Al-Shaikh Ali, Executive Board President.
This ceremony was organized as part of the opening of summer school of International Islamic Thinkers (IIIT) and the MAHYA publishing house under the title “Muslim societies: Contemporary and Future Challenges.” The ceremony was attended by numerous personalities from scientific life, laureate wives and summer school attendants. On 12 July, Professors Fikret Karčić and Enes Karić delivered lectures at the summer school. Prof. Karić presented the topic “Tasks of Islamic Studies Today”; Prof. Karčić presented the topic “How to Study Islamic Law Today.”
