Ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia visited the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo

On 10 February 2021, the Ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia, H.E. Ekrem Ebibi visited the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo. The hosts of the meeting with the ambassador were Prof. Dr. Muhamed Dželilović, Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Doz. Dr. Amir Duranović, Vice Dean for Scientific Research, International Academic Cooperation and Publishing. During the meeting, they discussed cooperation between the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Sarajevo and related institutions in the Republic of Macedonia.

Both sides emphasized the importance of cooperation so far, but also expressed readiness to further intensify mutual communication and cooperation, especially in the field of humanities and social sciences. In this regard, the possibility of renewing the existing agreements on cooperation of the Faculty of Philosophy with related institutions in the Republic of Northern Macedonia and signing new ones was considered, in order to open opportunities for more intensive exchange of knowledge and experiences between teaching and non-teaching staff and students from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Northern Macedonia.
