The Summer School “Climate Changes and Air Pollution” completed and the digital educational platform presented

University of Sarajevo Center for Interdisciplinary Studies Prof. Dr. Zdravko Grebo (CIS), in cooperation with UNICEF, presented a digital educational platform on climate change and air pollution. The platform was created after the Summer School held in July this year when students from public universities and high school graduates from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina learned from experts who developed a study program on climate and the consequences of climate change.

With this program, experts and mentors emphasized the importance of raising knowledge and awareness of these challenges, understanding the causes and consequences of climate change and air pollution, and encouraging critical reflection and sustainable behavior. The program also defines the aspect of measures for prevention and protection of society and the environment.

All content has been digitized and will soon be available free of charge to all educational institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In addition to raising awareness, this is also important because it encourages concrete action and engagement of future generations for a more sustainable world. About a billion young people in the world feel the consequences of this global scourge.

In addition to the presentation of the digital platform, air purifiers were distributed to faculties and high schools that nominated their pupils and students to participate in this summer school, thereby recognizing the importance of this initiative.

This donation of air purifiers not only symbolizes gratitude but also a concrete contribution to improving the conditions in which future agents of change in society are educated.
