BiH RC: Working and ceremonial session held - Plaques awarded to deserving individuals

The University of Zenica, which took over the chairmanship over the Rectors’s Conference of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the University of Bihać last month, hosted the first working session held on 8 February 2021. The session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Damir Kukić, University of Zenica Rector and a new Rectors’s Conference of BiH President in 2021.
At the first session, the Rectors’s Conference of BiH exchanged and analyzed information on teaching during the coronavirus pandemic, and concluded that the combined model of teaching that was implemented at public universities in the winter semester proved to be excellent.
It was emphasized that the Rectors’s Conference of BiH encourages cooperation and exchange of teachers with the aim of improving teaching at public universities and universities and ensuring the quality of the teaching process at medical faculties.
On the occasion of the Rectors’s Conference of BiH Day, and after the working session, a ceremonial session was held at which plaques were awarded to individuals who contributed to the development of higher education in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The winners of the Rectors’s Conference of BiH Plaque, awarded to those responsible for their outstanding contribution to the development and expansion of the reputation of universities in BiH, are: Academician Prof. Dr. Miloš Trifković, Prof. Dr. Sci. Dženana Gačo, Prof. Dr. Sci. Milan Kulić, Prof. Dr. Sci. Rajko Kuzmanović, Prof. Dr. Sci. Fuad Ćatović, Prof. Dr. Sci. Vlado Majstorović, Prof. Dr. Sci. Mitar Novaković, Prof. Dr. Sci. Sabahudin Ekinović, Dr. H. C. and posthumously Prof. Dr. Sci. Stefan Sunarić.
