Goethe-Institute for Southeast Europe Supervisor Christel Mahnke visited NUBBiH

At the National and University Library of BiH, on 13 May 2019, Ismet Ovčina and colleagues received Christel Mahnke, head of the library and digital questions at the Goethe-Institut in Athens, and the head of the Goethe-Institut Library in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dragan Lasica.
Christel Mahnke, supervisor of the Goethe Institute for Southeastern Europe, expressed a special desire to visit the National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to get acquainted with the current situation of library profession and business in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region. Special intersection of Mrs. Mahnke expressed her views on European cooperation and projects, accentuating some of IFLA's and EUROPEANA's current projects supporting the cooperation of libraries in Europe and the world.
To the satisfaction of both sides, a successful cooperation between the Goethe-Institut and the National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been highlighted, which has resulted in numerous positive projects.
