Cooperation with Lanzhou Jiaotong University announced

The Lanzhou Jiaotong University delegation led by Prof. Dr. Zhang Guojin, dean of the International Educational School visited the University of Sarajevo on Monday, 5 November 2018, where they met with Prof. Dr. Aleksandar Nikolić, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation.
During the meeting, the importance of interuniversity cooperation was discussed, as well as the possibility of achieving academic cooperation between the University of Sarajevo and Lanzhou Jiaotong University, public university in Lanzhou, Gansu Province, China. It was pointed out that the goal of cooperation was to promote academic, educational and cultural cooperation that would include networking and mutual exchange of teachers, researchers, students and other staff. Collaboration would include joint projects such as transnational education programs and research projects, an exchange program involving academic staff and students, exchange of knowledge through teaching and materials, cooperation in academic training and research, and research on the possibility of joint establishment of laboratories, exchange programs aimed at promoting language and culture, and other activities of common interest.
The meeting was ended with the University of Sarajevo and Lanzhou Jiaotong University readiness for the realization of institutional cooperation and the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, and in the forthcoming period the necessary administrative procedures will be taken.
