Academic Cooperation Agreement Signed between the University of Sarajevo and Compiegne University of Technology (France)
Compiegne University of Technology professors, Nikolaos Limnios and Adnan Ibrahimbegović visited the University of Sarajevo on Monday, 16 September 2019, where they were received by Rector, Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj. The meeting was also attended by the University Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Nikolić, Prof. Sanja Burić, and Prof. Dr. Samir Dolarević, Faculty of Civil Engineering Dean.
On this occasion, an Agreement on Academic Cooperation was signed between the University of Sarajevo and the Compiegne University of Technology, aiming at promotion of academic, educational and cultural cooperation between the two institutions.
Within the Agreement, institutional cooperation will be developed and further pursued through specific programs of mutual interest. The cooperation will be implemented through the following activities: networking and mutual exchange of teachers, researchers, students and other staff for lectures, visits and exchange of experiences; joint participation and application for funds earmarked for educational, research and artistic activities; joint activities in the field of education, training and/or research; joint organizing of conferences, symposia, congresses, seminars, courses, summer schools, workshops and other forms of cooperation of mutual interest; exchange of expert literature, textbooks and other university publications; exchange of information in the area of mutual interest; other activities of common interest.
The Compiegne University of Technology professors are in Sarajevo on the occasion of the 4th International Conference “Multi-scale Computational Methods for Solids and Fluids” organized by Compiegne University of Technology in cooperation with the Faculties of Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, University of Sarajevo to be hold in Sarajevo from 18 to 20 September 2019.
