About the University of Sarajevo

Founded in 1949, the University of Sarajevo is the largest and most comprehensive higher education institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with over 25 faculties and academies, more than 22,000 students, and a strong focus on research, teaching, and global partnerships.

International Staff Training Week
Each year, we host a themed International Staff Week in Sarajevo, bringing together professionals from across Europe for networking, workshops, and cultural exchange.
