The ceremonial opening of the second “Archipraxis” event

The second organization of the event “Archipraxis” organized by the UNSA Faculty of Architecture and the Association of Students of Architecture was officially opened on 04/10/2023.

“The first three-day meeting of the academic, public and real sector in May last year had an exceptional echo in public, and an extraordinarily visited manifestation became the place of exchange of experiences, good practices and reflections of experienced connoisseurs, representatives of 15 renowned companies and architects, who are through examples Selected construction conquests, to the students, they hinted at the practical challenges that await them in the near future.

The second Archipraxis 2023 has a slightly different scenario and program. It was organized through two days of trips and excursions to reference administrative, sacral, residential and cultural buildings, accompanied by lectures of their authors, presentations of companies, architectural studies and industry of construction products and materials.

Representatives of students were also selected who will on 11.10.2023. at 5:00 pm, on the day of closing the event, to design presentations and share the impressions of experience from different destinations.

This time, students are directly going to the field, but the right experience of working in the real and public sector, students will feel through, successful implementation of the APLE Erasmus + Capacity Building project. A dedicated team of young people from the Faculty of Architecture prepared an Erasmus+ app, which was approved at our joy last year. A consortium from 5 countries has been assembled, which includes 7 partner architectural faculties, which, among other things, will work to transform the curriculum of the 2nd Cycle of Studies and in our case, to create designs and introduction of mandatory student practice into the curriculum.

This Archipraxis has become an integral part of the APLE project and all the companies involved, performer companies, the architectural voter, the Planning Institute and the urban municipal services will pass through the official accreditation process. According to their capacities and needs, they will offer a number of positions, types of engagement and a time of practical student training, which will be valorized by ECTS points.

Maybe I prejudice the potential scenario, but the field engagement of students can bring multiple benefits. It will prevail over the reduction in the gap and the gap between academic education and the real sector, but also to profile a student to the desired field of future professional activity.
