Erasmus+ CBHE project STINT Consortium Meeting

At the University of Tuzla on 17 and 18 April 17, a consortium meeting was held within for the Erasmus+ project Strengthening Internationalization in B&H Higher Education (STINT).
Consortium partners met to attend a benchmarking seminar on implementing pilot activities as one of the activities of the project's work packages, as well as analyzing the benchmarking criteria across Europe and their implementation in BH higher education. On behalf of the University of Sarajevo at this meeting, were Dr. Jasna Bošnjović, Head of the International Cooperation Service and Msc. Adnan Rahimić, expert associate for international cooperation. Representatives of all partner universities presented the activities that were realized in the second and third year of project implementation in a comprehensive agenda of the meeting.

The International Cooperation Service presented the following results of the work in this project:

  • a model for the recognition of academic titles developed under this project, in cooperation with the Legal Services Department of the University of Sarajevo and the Center for Recognition and Information,
  • the current status in the development of the Internationalization Strategy and Indicators through which the success of internationalization in the coming period will be monitored,
  • Rules and Guides for the Internationalization of the University:

o    Rules on mobility
o    A short guide to incoming students
o    A short guide to outgoing students
o    Mobility Guide Collection (updated version)

  • Pilot activities within the implementation of this project as part of the improvement of the internationalization of the University:

o    staff week for Erasmus+ partners (16-20 October 2017)
o    Guide to "Instructions for International Cooperation Coordinators on the Implementation of Erasmus+ Credit Mobility" (http://www.erasmus.unsa.ba/download/).
o    Workshop as a support measure for teachers and associates for writing project applications within the Erasmus + program (22 November 2017).
o    video testimonials - creating an electronic record of Erasmus + scholarship programs that will soon be available on the official YouTube channel of the Service.

  • internal STINT project dissemination activities successfully presented at various events (information days, workshops, scholarship fair, contact seminars, welcome days, conferences and presentations).

At the meeting, further steps and activities have been agreed, the realization of which is planned until the end of the project, as well as the meetings and the final conference to be organized in east Sarajevo.

The University of Sarajevo is a partner in this Erasmus + project together with the other seven public universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and representatives of the BH authorities and agencies in the field of higher education.
