The University of Sarajevo Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies in partnership with “EYOF 2019” organizes a round table on the topic “Security at EYOF 2019” on Tuesday, 24 April 2018.
Bearing in mind the significance of the upcoming EYOF 2019 (European Youth Olympic Festival) event and especially considering the safety aspects of the preparation and realization of this great sports event, the Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies organizes this scientific and expert meeting. Precisely the topic of this Round Table opens an academic and professional discussion - are we ready and in what form to answer any challenge? Do we have any answers, do we have a plan?
The intention is to point out the importance of timely planning of responses to all security challenges of EYOF 2019, point out the importance of developing security plans during the realization of EYOF 2019 and the importance of protecting critical infrastructure (arenas and other facilities), and in particular to identify critical security issues and to point out the importance of determining the responsibilities and responsibilities of security agencies.
Regarding open issues, the Round Table will present participants' experiences and attitudes, as well as already undertaken activities, with representatives of law enforcement agencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, organizers, and certainly scientists from the University of Sarajevo.
