International Scientific Conference “Bosnia and Herzegovina's Federalism - Range and Limitations””
Center for Public Law Foundation and University of Sarajevo, Faculty of Law invite you at an international scientific conference
Sarajevo, 29 October 2019
Evropa Hotel, Hall number 1 (Vladislava Skarića 5, 71000 Sarajevo)
The conference was organized on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the German Constitution. With the participation of domestic and foreign participants (BiH, Serbia, Belgium, Germany, Austria and Italy), state, political and economic aspects of BiH federalism will be discussed, which will be compared with the federal standards of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The event is significant because of the scientific valorization of the federal model of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the elucidation of a number of complex issues that burden public and scientific debates and relate to the state system, distribution of competences and the democratic model of BiH. Such issues are of practical importance for policy, for legislators and governing bodies, as well as for scientific institutions and academic staff. Discussion and analysis are in place to ensure a rational approach to the public-law formulation of BiH-federalism.
The working languages are German, Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian. Simultaneous translation is provided.
Analyzes and discussions for the set can be downloaded from the FCJP website http://www.fcjp.ba/index.php/projects.
The organizers provided the participants with a copy of the newly published translation of the German Constitution (Constitution of the Federal Republic of Germany, translated and edited by E. Šarčević).
The number of participants is limited. Applications for participation in the meeting are to be submitted by email: email@example.com or by fax +387 33 262 717, no later than 25 October 2019.
