Second international training week for internationalization staff

The International Cooperation Service is the organizer of the 2nd International Staff Training Week for teachers and associates whose scope of work has the character of international activities. Training weeks are intended for those responsible for the implementation of international cooperation at a higher education institution. The theme of this year's training week is: The Bridge of internationalization between the European Union and the countries of the Western Balkans. Our focus will be on the mutual credit mobility of students, teachers and associates within the Erasmus+ program, spotting and defining problems and solution, as well as the offer of “internationalization-at-home.”

The training of the week is attended by representatives of the following universities:

3.    Mendel University in Brno, Czech Republic
4.    University of Paris 8, France
5.    Catholic University of Lille, France
6.    Technical University of Belfort Montbeliard, France

8.    University of Marburg, Germany
9.    University of Porto, Portugal
10.    Ondokuz Mayis University, Turkey

Presentations held on October 15, 2018 were also attended by representatives of the University of Sarajevo, who were introduced in more detail with the program and offer of our foreign partners.

As part of this program, we planned to have our foreign partners on Tuesday in a one-day visit to Mostar and attend the “International Day” organized by the “Džemal Bijedić” University of Mostar. In their absence, the International Cooperation Service invited the vice-deans, coordinators and associates from the University of Sarajevo to dedicate that day to the implementation of a workshop with local participants in order to present the work of the Rectorate and (sub) organizational units of the University of Sarajevo when it comes to international cooperation and analysis of the implementation of international mobility.
Our foreign partners will have the opportunity to present themselves again at the Ninth Scholarship Fair, to be held at the UNSA Rectorate on 18 October 2018 from 10:00 to 16:00.
