Cooperation with Al-Quds University Announced

H.E. Rezeq Namoora, Ambassador of Palestine to BiH, visited the University of Sarajevo on Thursday, 25 January 2018, where he met with Prof. Dr. Aleksandar Nikolić, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation.
At the meeting, possibilities for academic cooperation between the University of Sarajevo and the universities in Palestine were discussed, especially between the University of Sarajevo and the University of Al-Quds. The University of Sarajevo and the University of Al-Quds agreed on future cooperation forms and Ambassador Namoora's visit was an opportunity to consider the terms of signing the agreements between the two universities. The academic cooperation agreement will be signed with the aim of promoting academic, educational and cultural cooperation between the University of Sarajevo and the University of Al-Quds that implies networking, mutual exchange of faculty and students, joint participation and application for funds intended for educational and  research activities; joint activities in the field of education, training and/or research; joint organization of conferences, symposia, congresses, seminars, courses, summer schools, workshops; exchange of professional literature, textbooks and other university publications; and other activities of common interest.
