UNSA Faculty of Mechanical Engineering: Outstanding scientific contribution in the field of numerical modeling of measuring apertures
Scientific paper Investigation of the Contamination Influence on the Parameters of Gas Flow through Multi-Hole Orifice Flow Meter by Doz. dr. Amra Hasečić and Prof. Dr. Ejub Džaferović, University of Sarajevo Faculty of Mechanical Engineering was published in the prestigious journal IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement (Q1 WoS).
The work was realized in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Siniša Bikić from the Technical Faculty of the University of Novi Sad, with whom scientific cooperation has already been established and successfully maintained. The idea for the mentioned research originated originally through the final work of UNSA Faculty of Mechanical Engineering student Jasmina Imamović, whose results have already been published as part of the scientific paper Numerical Analysis Of Contamination Influence On Gas Flow Parameters Through Single-Hole Orifice Meter at the ICNAAM International Conference (International Conference on Numerical Analysis and Applied Mathematics) which held in Greece in September 2020.
This scientific paper represents an exceptional scientific contribution in the field of numerical modeling of measuring apertures, since this is the first numerical study of the influence of deposits on the flow parameters of multi-aperture measuring apertures.
