Students, “University of Sarajevo Golden and Silver Badges” recipients from Stari Grad received Municipality prizes
Major of the Stari Grad Municipality Ibrahim Hadžibajrić and the Municipal Council Chairman, Jusuf Pušina organized a reception for UNSA students, winners of the UNSA Gold and Silver Badge awards and presented them with cash prizes. There are altogether 11 such students living in the Stari Grad municipality, and eight of them today were present at the reception. Major Hadžibajrić and Chairman Pušina congratulated them on their success during the studies, and told them that they were the future of our country.
From conversations with students, we learned that the current plans are very much related to this city and country. Mustafa Bevrnja graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering with an average of 9.79, and at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering he now works as an assistant. "Although this position requires hard work, often on weekends and holidays, I do not intend to leave the country, and from next year I plan to enroll doctoral studies," Mustafa said. Berina Beširović graduated from the Faculty of Political Science, Department of International Relations and Diplomacy with an average of 9.8. At the Faculty of Political Science she is currently engaged as an assistant, and she enrolled in a doctoral study: "At the beginning of my studies, I received a scholarship to go to Norway to study, but I decided to stay and I did not repent," said Berina, who is currently working on her first book. Jana Drino (Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Department of Mathematics - 9.1 average) is currently working at a Lyceum and plans to enroll her doctoral studies next year.
