The University of Sarajevo Presents 19 Scientific, Research And Development Projects
On 12 December, 2020, the Day of Science is celebrated for the second time in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina commemorating the day when in 1975 Vladimir Prelog was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. The Science Day celebration aims to popularize science and scientific research work in the public, as well as its further promotion and affirmation.
The University of Sarajevo is pleased to present 19 scientific research and research and development projects whose (co) financing was approved within the Competition of the Federal Ministry for (co)-financing of projects in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2019.
Within the mentioned competition, a total of 233,871.37 BAM was allocated for 19 approved scientific research and research and development projects that are being implemented in 2019 and 2020 at the University of Sarajevo.
The importance of the support of the Federal Ministry of Education and Science for the activities and advancement of researchers at the University of Sarajevo is certainly multiple. The University of Sarajevo management would like to thank the Federal Ministry of Education and Science for their support and investments in education and science in the Federation of BiH. Given the fact that the competition for scientific research and development projects was not announced in 2020 due to the difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, we hope that next year the competition will be announced and thus continue the continuity of FMON’s commitment and activities in the field of support and development of science, research and development activities in the Federation of BiH.
