Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Youth KS: 500,000 BAM allocated for co-financing scientific research projects

The Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Youth has allocated funds in the amount of 500,000 BAM for co-financing scientific research/artistic research and R&D projects in the Sarajevo Canton.
On this occasion, the Minister of Science, Higher Education Prof. Dr. Melika Husić Mehmedović signed 21 contracts with representatives of public and private higher education and scientific institutions.
She congratulated all the winners and wished them a lot of success in their work, quality scientific results and publication of papers.
The Minister said that the funds for the support of the development of science, research/artistic research work in the Sarajevo Canton are planned in the Budget of the Ministry for 2021 in the amount of three million.
According to her, this is the largest amount provided for science programs so far, and it will be realized through a public call that will be published in April.
Having in mind the fact that scientific research activity is of special social interest for Sarajevo Canton, the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Youth, on behalf of the Government, undertook to fulfill project financing according to the Decision on the final ranking list of recipients of funds from 29 December 2020.
