Faculty of Law Student Zenira Bektaš, Won “Most Successful Student Athlete” Award

At the event held at the National Theater in Sarajevo on 23 January 2020, the prestigious awards were given to athletes and teams who have achieved the most significant results in national championships and international competitions and deserving sports workers in the past 2019.

In the traditional 75th Election of the Sports Association of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the award - Most Successful Student Athlete - was awarded to the University of Sarajevo Faculty of Law student, Zenira Bektaš, in the “karate” category.

Zenira Bektaš won the title of the European University Champion in the senior category - 61 kg last year. In addition to this result, she was ranked 9th in the European Seniors Championship in Spain and 3rd in the Balkan Seniors Championship in Serbia, within the same category.
