NIZ C, God. 15, Sv. 15. za 2016. godinu (BH bibliography of attachments in serial publications. NIZ C, year 15, vol. 15. for 2016” took place.
The promoters were: Dr. Ismet Ovčina, Director, Prof. Dr. Senada Dizdar, Faculty of Philosophy professor, Dženana Tuzlak, senior librarian and head of the Bibliography Department, and Azra Smajić Gačević, Master of Comparative Literature and Librarianship and bibliography for articles.
Dr. Ovčina stressed that it is one of the activities of the National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina and publishing. So far, NUBBiH has issued over 220 publications. One of the basic tasks and obligations that have been performed regularly since 1945 by the NUBBiH as a national library is the production and publishing of current and retrospective bibliographical bibliography of books, periodicals and articles in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Therefore, a significant part of the Library's publishing opus is the bibliography of Bosnian-Herzegovinian productions.
Prof. Dr. Senada Dizdar emphasized that the creation of national bibliographies at the beginning of the 21st century was subject to intense changes that primarily relate to online work processes, starting with its classification, collection, organization of information about it, long-term preservation in digital archives, and access to that material.
For the end, prof. Dr. Senada Dizdar, referring to referents in the bibliography and standards applied when processing library materials and supported by the COBISS system, said that a new approach to the bibliographic inventory of materials has already been adopted and both of these bibliographies have been adopted, structure and descriptions, fully meet the widest range of user requirements and contemporary bibliographic data processing.
