Study Visit Held at the University of Western Macedonia within the ERASMUS+ DiLanEdu-WB Project

A study visit within the ERASMUS+ project DiLanEdu-WB – Digital Transformation in Language Study and Education of the Western Balkans was held at the University of Western Macedonia, Greece, on 1–2 October 2026.

The programme took place in Kozani and Kastoria and focused on contemporary approaches to the use of digital technologies in education. Participants attended presentations on multimodal teaching, gamification, digital storytelling, educational robotics and the use of artificial intelligence in language learning. The programme also included a visit to the Digital Media and Strategic Communication Lab, where VR and AR applications in education were presented. 

On the second day, participants visited the Centre for Environmental Education and Sustainability in Kastoria and explored digital educational applications, including location-based AR and VR solutions.

The University of Sarajevo was represented by Prof. Dr. Merima Muslić from the Faculty of Philosophy and Naida Fazlagić Ajanović, MA from the International Relations Office of the Faculty of Educational Sciences.

The study visit provided an opportunity for the exchange of experiences among partner institutions and for exploring further applications of digital tools and innovative educational practices within the DiLanEdu-WB project.
