Awards presented at the International Sarajevo Book Fair - Awarded teachers of the Faculty of Philosophy UNSA
At the final event of the Sarajevo International Book Fair, awards were presented in several categories, and among the winners were teachers from the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Sarajevo; their publishers.
At the Fair, Prof. Dr. Halid Bulić, associate professor of the Department of Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian for the work Conjunctions in Contemporary Bosnian in the category "Award for Science: Social and Natural Sciences", published by the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo was awarded.
Prof. Dr. Lejla Kodrić Zaimović, full professor at the Department of Information Sciences, Department of Comparative Literature and Information Sciences, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo, won the Award for the best scientific book in the category of social and natural sciences for the book Heritage Studies: From Modern to Postdigital Culture published by the University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The award in the category for journals in literature, philosophy, sociology, and other humanities and social sciences was given to P.E.N. Center in Bosnia and Herzegovina, publisher of the magazine for literary and art criticism Novi Izraz. The editorial board of the magazine Novi Izraz consists of Prof. Dr. Andrea Lešić-Thomas, Prof. Dr. Ajla Demiragić and Prof. Dr. Tatjana Bijelić (University of Banja Luka).
In the category of the best book for higher education, the work Ancestors in Us: Genetic Treasure of Bosnia and Herzegovina by Damir Marjanović, Dragan Primorac and Salmedin Mesihović, published by Mladinska knjiga Sarajevo, was awarded.
SPKD “Prosvjeta” Sarajevo was awarded for the work Novel about Alexander the Great - according to the Berlin manuscript of Alexandrida. For this work, the translation from the Church Slavonic language and the adaptation to the modern language was done by Prof. Dr. Lejla Nakaš, with the help of numerous associates in the preparation of this edition.
