International Scientific Conference Sarajevo Philological Meetings 6 Opened

The international scientific conference Sarajevo Philological Encounters 6 was opened in Sarajevo on 28 October 2021, organized by the Bosnian Philological Society (BFD) in co-organization with the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo.

The sixth international conference brings together eminent names of Bosnian and regional linguistics and literary science, and the thematic range of papers includes the communicative perspective of language, textual characteristics of Bosnian medieval manuscripts, grammatical and semantic categories of sentences, issues of literature and globalization, and old texts and new readings in Bosnian literature.

Plenary presentations at the Sarajevo Philological Meetings 6 were held by Prof. Dr. Hab. Bogusław Zieliński (Poznan, Poland) and Prof. Dr. Branimir Belaj (Osijek, Croatia).

The conference organizing was supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Science (FMON) and J.P. BH Pošte.
