The dangers of potential urban life at the city’s physical geography imply size and position, but they can include a series of events such as hurricanes, floods, storms, earthquakes, snow, storms, landslides, landslides. One of the urban environments’ special problems, affecting human lives and everyday living and seriously undermines the quality of life, is crime. Large number of social problems and conflicts in urban areas is a consequence of dehumanization of certain parts of the city, degradation of residential areas. Community spaces, both public and private, should be designed and designated so people would feel safe in them, wanting to use and stay in them.

The round table on the topic "Risk prevention in urban areas" aims to provide participants with a multidisciplinary approach to the problems of urban safety.

The round table will be held on 8 November 2018 at the Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies, the University of Sarajevo (University of Sarajevo Campus, Zmaja od Bosne St., 8, Sarajevo) at 9:00 hrs.
