Elektrotehnički fakultet Univerziteta u Sarajevu je ove godine organizator velike međunarodne konferencije ISGT Europe 2018 (Innovative Smart Grid Technologies Europe 2018) koja će se održati od 21. do 25. oktobra 2018. godine u hotelu Holiday u Sarajevu.

Ova konferencija se organizira već osmi put u Evropi, ovaj put u Sarajevu, a prethodne konferencije su održane:

1. Gothenburg, Sweden – October 11-13, 2010,
2. Manchester, GB (University of Manchester) – December 5-7, 2011,
3. Berlin – October 14-17, 2012,
4. Lyngby, Denmark (Technical University of Denmark – DTU) – October 6-9, 2013,
5. Istanbul – October 12-15, 2014,
6. Ljubljana – October 9-12, 2016, 
7. Torino, Italy – September 26-29, 2017.  

Za konferenciju se registriralo 350 učesnika iz 38 zemalja svijeta. Bit će prezentirano 235 naučnih radova, raspoređenih u dvije poster-sesije i petnaest sesija za oralne prezentacije.
