Visit of the Director of the National and University Library of BiH to the Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies UNSA

Director of the National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Ismet Ovčina, with his associates Adis Žero and Merima Lendo, visited the Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies, University of Sarajevo on 15 March 2021. In addition to the Faculty Dean, Prof. Dr. Jasmin Ahić, the meeting was attended by the Vice Dean for Science Prof. Dr. Lada Sadiković and the head of the Teaching Service Ermina Bakić.

On that occasion, director Ovčina handed over to the dean of the Faculty the latest editions of NUB, and the magazine “BOSNIACA” was indexed, which is indexed in prestigious international databases, including the "Web of Science", and presented numerous opportunities to improve scientific-educational and professional cooperation between two institutions.

Dean Ahić and his associates introduced the guests to the current activities of the Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies with special reference to the implementation and enforcement of teaching and research activities in the circumstances of the Covid 19 pandemic. Dr. Lada Sadiković presented the activities of the Faculty, especially in the scientific research segment and publishing. Prof. Dr. Jasmin Ahić thanked for the cooperation and professionalism in providing all services, and emphasized the commitment of the Faculty of Criminology, Criminology and Security Studies to further modernize the Faculty Library, believing that the digitalization of the library is necessary for further development of Bosnia and Herzegovina's academic and cultural community, the experience and knowledge of the staff of the National and University Library of BiH is of great importance in that sense.
