University of Tetovo Representatives Visited the University of Sarajevo
Representatives of the University of Tetovo: Prof. Dr. Agon Memeti, Vice Rector for Science and Technology, and M.Sc. Donika Kamberi, Director of the Center for Peace and Transcultural Communication, visited the University of Sarajevo today, where they were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Mirza Dautbašić, Vice-Rector for Research, Prof. Dr. Tamara Karača Beljak, Vice-Rector for Art, Artistic Research, Culture And Sport, Dr. Gaj Trifković, expert associate at the UNSA Center for Human Rights, and M.Sc. Jasmina Gradaščević-Pleh in front of the Department for Scientific Research.
The reason for the meeting is the expressed interest of the representatives of the University of Tetovo in continuing cooperation with the University of Sarajevo. The meeting focused on issues of particular importance not only for Bosnia and Herzegovina and North Macedonia, but also for the entire Western Balkans region, such as transitional justice, European integration, human rights, etc.
As a first concrete step in the direction of continued cooperation, the possibilities of organizing a joint master's study were discussed, the realization of which would involve the Center for Peace and Transcultural Communication and certain faculties of the University of Tetovo, as well as the Center for Human Rights and certain members of the University of Sarajevo.
The meeting ended with expressed mutual willingness to continue cooperation with the aim of stronger connection of the academic communities of the University of Tetovo and the University of Sarajevo, and appropriate administrative procedures will be initiated in the coming period.
