Talks on cooperation between higher education institutions of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the University of Sarajevo
With the aim of strengthening cooperation between higher education institutions of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the University of Sarajevo, H E. Gholamreza Alimohammad Ghelichkhan, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Consul General Jaaber Vasigh visited the University of Sarajevo on Thursday 13 January 2022, where they met with Rector, Prof Dr. Rifat Škrijelj, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Enita Nakaš and Prof. Dr. Munir Drkić from the Department of Persian Language and Literature, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo
During the meeting, the successful cooperation between the University and the Embassy of Iran in BiH was emphasized, and the significant support of the Embassy in the implementation of teaching at the Department of Persian Language and Literature, Department of Oriental Philology, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo.
In order to conclude new partnerships, various forms of cooperation and connecting the academic communities of Iran and BiH, the meeting discussed opportunities for exchange of students, teaching, scientific and non-teaching staff, as well as strengthening interuniversity ties through various models of academic and cultural cooperation and possible forms of cooperation. between the University of Sarajevo and the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in BiH. It was pointed out that the University of Sarajevo currently has two active cooperation agreements with the University of Tehran and the Institute for Humanities and Cultural Studies in Tehran.
