Promotion of the book “Alexander technique in accordionism” by Prof. Dr. Belma Šarančić

On 13 November 2020, the University of Sarajevo Music Academy presented to the public the book “Alexander Technique in Accordionism” by Prof. Dr. Belme Šarančić. The book promotion was held at 19:00 as part of the parallel online program of the MAS Concert Season, as the first event of its kind in the online production of the UNSA Music Academy.
Since this is a book from the domain of artistic research, the promotion itself is conceived as a concert event in which the most important contents of the book are presented to the audience in narrative and artistic form. The promoters of the book were: Prof. Dr. Senad Kazić (MAS UNSA), Prof. Mr. Sc. Corrado Rojca (Conservatorio di Musica “Giuseppe Tartini”, Trieste) and Prof. Mr. Borut Zagoranski (University of Ljubljana, Academy of Music, Ljubljana), as well as the author. The artistic part of the promotion was performed by the author of the book, which was joined at the end by students of the Academy of Performing Arts Hana Zrno and Harun Ćehović. The artistic segment of the promotion took the viewers through a comparison of the interpretive and artistic requirements of classical and contemporary accordion literature.
