Palestinian Ambassador’s Farewell Visit to the UNSA Faculty of Philosophy

University of Sarajevo Faculty of Philosophy hosted on Monday, 29 December, H.E. Rezeq Namoora, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Bosnia and Herzegovina on a farewell visit. The occasion for visit was the end of his diplomatic mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina after eleven years of service. The visit was conducted in a spirit of gratitude, mutual respect, and affirmation of long-standing academic and cultural cooperation.
The outgoing ambassador was received by the Vice Dean for Scientific Research, International Academic Cooperation and Publishing, Prof. Dr. Minka Džanko, together with representatives of the Department of Oriental Philology and the Chair of Arabic Language and Literature. On this occasion, they discussed past cooperation, the importance of institutional support for the development of Arabic studies, as well as strengthening academic and ties between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the State of Palestine.
Ambassador Namoora expressed sincere gratitude to the Faculty of Philosophy, the Department of Oriental Philology, and the Chair of Arabic Language and Literature for the long-standing cooperation, friendly relations, and continuous support during his term. He emphasized the importance of educational institutions in preserving dialogue, intercultural understanding, and historical ties between the two peoples.
As a token of recognition for his exceptional contribution to the promotion of the Arabic language, the advancement of academic and cultural cooperation, and the strengthening of ties between the Palestinian people and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ambassador Namoora was presented with a certificate of appreciation from the Faculty and the Chair of Arabic Language and Literature.
This visit symbolically marked the end of a fruitful phase of cooperation, confirming the strong ties between the Faculty and the Palestinian diplomatic representation, which will certainly remain a foundation for future joint projects and exchanges.
