Members of the Laboratory Section of the PU Medical Sarajevo visited the Faculty of Medicine

As in previous years, successful cooperation between members of the Laboratory Section of the Medical School of Sarajevo and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Sarajevo continues. On Friday, February 8, 2019, members of the laboratory section visited the Department of Microbiology, Parasitology and Virusology.
After introductory addressing by Prof. Dr Sadeta Hamzić, Head of the Department of Microbiology, Parasitology and Virology, attendees listened a lecture held by Dr. Sajra Vinčević-Smajlović. The members of the section also had the opportunity, besides microscopy, to produce antibiograms and biochemical series, and preparations that were mixed by methylene and grams.
In the forthcoming period, a visit is still to be done by the students of the University Medical School of Sarajevo, Faculty of Medicine of the University of Sarajevo.
