The Faculty of Economics continues the discussion on the importance of innovation and organizes the Sarajevo Innovation Summit 2019

The Faculty of Economics, University of Sarajevo, as the only internationally accredited Faculty in the field of business studies with the longest tradition in Bosnia and Herzegovina, continues the discussion on the importance of innovation and organizes the Sarajevo Innovation Summit 2019.

The event will be held at the Sarajevo City Hall on 10 October 2019 at 9:00. Sarajevo Innovation Summit will be opened by Dean, Prof. Dr. Jasmina Selimović, Sarajevo Mayor Abdulah Skaka, Federal Minister of Education and Science Elvira Dilberović, Ambassador of Sweden to Bosnia and Herzegovina Johanna Strömquist and organizer and director of the Sarajevo Innovation Summit Prof. Dr. Amila Pilav-Velić.
 
The basic idea of the Summit is to bring together leading domestic and foreign experts from the business and public sectors, as well as academia, to present good practices and share knowledge and experience. The aim is to encourage and stimulate innovative work and create an adequate environment.

This year's support for the Sarajevo Innovation Summit was provided by the Swedish Embassy of BiH, the Swedish Institute, the Federal Ministry of Education and Science, the City of Sarajevo, the KULT Youth Development Institute, as well as sponsors from the Sarajevo Canton Chamber of Commerce, Bosnia Bank International dd, UNDP Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo International Airport, Swedish Chamber of Commerce and SBF Start-up Challenge.
