EUPeace - A delegation from the University of Sarajevo visiting the Comillas Pontificia University in Madrid
UNSA Vice-Rector for Teaching and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Dženana Husremović, assistant professor M.Sc. Alma Ferović Fazlić from the Academy of Performing Arts, president of the Student Association of the Faculty of Health Studies, Ajla Mešić, and head of the Rector's Office, M.Sc. Miroslav Živanović, recently stayed at Comillas Pontificia University in Madrid, Spain.
The three-day visit included a series of working meetings related to further steps and activities of the Board of Directors, the Senate and the governing bodies of the international EUPeace Alliance, whose members include the University of Sarajevo and the University of Marburg (Germany), Comillas Pontificia University of Madrid (Spain), Çukurova University in Adana (Turkey), University of Giessen (Germany), University of Calabria (Italy), University of Limoges (France), University of Mostar (BiH), University of Sarajevo (BiH) and University of West Bohemia (Czech Republic).
The EUPeace initiative is dedicated to fostering a culture of peace and creating the foundation for a prosperous society through education, research and outreach. The goals of the Alliance include developing innovative educational formats, creating joint study programs and strengthening international mobility. During the visit, a meeting was held at the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Spain, where he and H.E. Ambassador Vesna Andree Zaimović launched an initiative on cooperation in the field of implementing the Erasmus program, organizing visiting expert professors from Spain and in general on the Embassy's support to students and teachers during their stay in Spain.
