Dr. Emina Dervišević, winner of the European Prize for Medicine in the research category
Dr. Emina Dervišević, senior assistant at the University of Sarajevo Faculty of Medicine, is the winner of this year's European Award in Medicine in the category of research work, which will be awarded this year on 28 November in Budapest.
Despite the strong and high-quality competition in the competition for this award, Dr. Dervišević significantly stood out from other candidates with her striking research contribution in the field of biomedicine and forensic medicine. Her excellent research and innovative experimental methods left a deep mark on the scientific community and in this way significantly contributed to progress in these fields. The decision to award the prize to her was additionally supported by her research methodologies, which set new standards for excellence in the fields of research that Dr. Dervišević deals with.
Dr. Dervišević's scientific research work has been awarded multiple times, and she was also awarded last year for her outstanding work in the field of forensic medicine, which means that this year's award is an additional confirmation of the quality of her work, as well as her contribution to science and medicine. The representatives of the European Prize in Medicine sent their sincere congratulations on this award directly to Dr. Dervišević, but also to the entire academic community that supports her. Her dedication and achievements bring pride not only to the University of Sarajevo, but also to the field of medical research at the world level.
