Cooperation announced between the University of Sarajevo and Binary University of Malaysia

The founder and president of Binary University Tan Sri Dato Professor Joseph Adaikalam and Project Executive Director Mr. Khirandra Joseph visited the University of Sarajevo on Tuesday, 17 December 2019, where they met with Rector, Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj. Representatives of Bosna Bank International (BBI): Lejla Huskić and Mirza Vejzagić also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the importance of inter-university cooperation was discussed, and the possibilities of academic cooperation between the University of Sarajevo and Binary University of Malaysia in areas of interest to both institutions were discussed. Particular attention was paid to discussing the possibilities of organizing joint master and doctoral studies in the field of entrepreneurship and establishing a center of excellence.
Tan Sri Dato Professor Joseph Adaikalam stated that Binary University is one of the most attractive and respected universities in Management, Information Technology (IT) and Entrepreneurial Education in Asia, and offers top programs that are internationally recognized.
The meeting was ended with the expressed readiness of representatives of the University of Sarajevo and the Binary University to pursue institutional cooperation and sign a memorandum of understanding, and the necessary administrative procedures will be undertaken in the coming period.
