“Contemporary Methods and Teaching Methods” Seminar
A two-day seminar Contemporary Methods and Forms of Teaching was held in the UNSA Rectorate on 22-23February 2018. It was organized within the Erasmus+ Re@WBC project Enhancement of HE research potential contributing to further growth of the WB region in which University of Sarajevo participates.
Prof. Dr. Aida Hodžić, UNSA Vice- Rector for Teaching and Student Affairs welcomed the participants and emphasized that the seminar was organized in order to improve the teaching skills of young teachers and associates of the University of Sarajevo who are at the beginning of their academic career. The seminar was intended for assistants, senior assistants and senior lecturers at the University of Sarajevo, as well as all other teachers who want to improve their teaching skills.
On the first day of the seminar, the participants had the opportunity to hear the presentation by Mr. Saša Madacki, Rectorate Department for Teaching head, who spoke about the teaching process at the Humboldt vision of education. About the learning outcomes and Bloom's taxonomy spoke Dr. Sandra Bjelan-Guska from the Faculty of Philosophy, while Prof. Dr. Mirjana Mavrak, also from the Faculty of Philosophy spoke about the role and competences of university teachers in the 21st century.
On the second day of the seminar participants had the opportunity to hear the presentation of Prof. Dr. Lejla Kafedžić (Faculty of Philosophy) on the topic: "Creative techniques in student work and communication", and presentation by Doc. Dr. Dina Sijamhodžić-Nadarević (Faculty of Islamic Sciences) on the topic "Methods of active learning and evaluation of outcomes".
A two-day seminar was closed by Prof. Dr. Dženana Husremović, Vice-Rector for Research and at the University of Sarajevo who expressed satisfaction and gratitude for the good response and the large number of participants in the seminar.
