In the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies, Press Conference by the Sarajevo Canton Held

On Friday, 5 April 2019, the press conference ”100 Days of the Canton of Sarajevo Canton" was held at the UNSA Center for Interdisciplinary Studies (CIS) with the Prime Minister and Ministers of the Sarajevo Cantonal Government.
The Presentations were organized by the Peacebuilding Network and the Center for Promotion of Civil Society, in cooperation with the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies, University of Sarajevo.
Prime Minister Edin Forto thanked the CIS at the beginning of presentation and emphasized that this Government wants dialogue open to both the media and civil society and that one of the key principles of its work is the wide range of public hearings before taking measures, decisions or laws. This was an opportunity for representatives of civil associations to get responses from line ministers on various current topics such as public transport, communal services, inclusive education, business environment improvement, financing of the association, etc. The prime minister emphasized that the Sarajevo Canton Government plans to improve and renew University of Sarajevo Campus and work on projects with the University.
