CEEISA 2026 Conference "Contesting Imperialism(s)"

We invite you to attend the CEEISA 2026 Conference, “Contesting Imperialism(s),” which will take place in Sarajevo from 17–19 June 2026, organized by the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Sarajevo and International Burch University.
The conference brings together international scholars and researchers in the fields of International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies, European Studies, and related disciplines, focusing on contemporary and historical forms of imperialism, security, memory, justice, and global transformations.
The conference programme chairs are Prof. Dr. Aida Hozić and Prof. Dr. Dženeta Karabegović, while the keynote lectures will be delivered by Prof. Dr. Siniša Malešević and Prof. Dr. Jasmina Husanović.
In addition to a rich academic programme, the conference at the FPN/UNSA will also feature a screening of the documentary film Where Have You Been and a book discussion for Shared History and Everyday Coexistence: Jews and Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
