Braille sales manager visit

On the occasion of the handover of Index Braille printer at the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies, the University of Sarajevo was visited by Mr. Niels van Weele, International Sales Manager at Index Braille. The meeting with Mr. van Weele was attended by: Rector, Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj, Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. Maida Čohodar Husić and Prof. Dr. Aida Hodžić, Head of the Office for Student Support at the University of Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Lejla Kafedžić, as well as the representative of the company Asistansia d.o.o Sarajevo, Valentina Škrbić. Two members of the Professional Team of the Office and all the staff of the Office for Student Support participated in the meeting.
Rector Škrijelj emphasized the significance and contribution that this donation presents to the University of Sarajevo as a whole, and stressed that this will provide support for students with visual impairments of the University of Sarajevo, as well as assisting in the preparation of literature from different areas. The donation is important for ensuring an inclusive environment and equal opportunities for all students, and raising the overall quality of study at the University of Sarajevo. The total value of the donation is more than 10,000 BAM.
