Agreement signed between the Confucius Institute of the University of Sarajevo and the Public Institution "Center for Sport and Recreation" Sarajevo

In an effort to promote the traditional Chinese practice of Tai Chi, foster cultural and knowledge exchange, and establish long-term cooperation in the field of sports and recreation, the Confucius Institute of the University of Sarajevo and the Public Institution "Center for Sport and Recreation" Sarajevo signed a Cooperation Agreement on Tuesday, March 19.

Dr. Xuezhong Zhang, the Chinese director of the Confucius Institute of the University of Sarajevo, and Mirza Muzurović, the director of the Public Institution "Center for Sport and Recreation" Sarajevo, are signatories to the agreement, which will contribute to the promotion of culture, health, and recreation in Sarajevo.

The agreement aims to promote Tai Chi and its teaching while also striving to achieve long-term cooperation and friendship. It envisages various forms of support and collaboration to ensure the effective implementation of Tai Chi classes, including providing instructors, and space for teaching, organizing cultural activities, and supporting participants in competitions.

The signed agreement reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to improving the quality of life and represents a step towards intensifying cooperation in the fields of culture, sports, and recreation.
