The 2018 Economic Forum of Bosnia and Herzegovina Held

On 15 February 2018, the Economic Forum of Bosnia and Herzegovina took place in “Holiday” Hotel in Sarajevo. The Forum was organized by the UNSA Faculty of Economics and the General Sponsor was the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
 
Introductory speech was delivered by the UNSA Faculty of Economics Dean, Kemal Kozarić together with the BH Council of Ministers Chairman Denis Zvizdić and the Head of the EU Delegation to BiH Lars Gunnar Wigemark.
At the opening of the Forum, Dean Kozarić pointed out “We are part of Europe geographically, culturally and historically. Bosnia and Herzegovina with 3.5 million inhabitants, an area of 51,197 square kilometers, its natural resources, significant geographical position, climate, but above all the people is and must be formally part of Europe.”
 
The Faculty of Economics organized this meeting with the intention of gathering holders of executive functions in one place, i.e. decision-makers who have the opportunity to present their strategic priorities to people from the real sector - business, but also to prevent the departure of young people.
 
This year, the Forum brought together 22 speakers from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region who actively discussed current economic, business and academic issues. In addition, more than 500 participants and over 50 media also participated in the Forum’s day-to-day activities. Active discussion and dialogue between speakers and forum participants resulted in the conclusions and recommendations that will be of use to the executive authorities, the business and academic sectors, and you can see it through the following link:
