Study visit of UNSA Faculty of Political Sciences students to the Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired of BiH
As part of regular teaching activities on the subject Introduction to Mediology, first-year master's students of the Department of Journalism/Communication at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Sarajevo, on 19 November 2021 visited the Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired of BiH.
Students and subject assistant Mr. Sc. Enita Čustović was welcomed and guided through the Library by Sakib Pleh, Director and Sanela Osmanagić, assistant director and editor of the Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired. In a pleasant and friendly environment, the director of the Library spoke to the students about the need for creation, work and specifics of activities and the importance of this library for blind and partially sighted people, but also the society of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The students were then taken through all parts of the Library, the archive, the room for recording audio editions, they were shown the museum part of the Library, and they had the opportunity to try reading and recording texts for the needs of the Library.
The visit was marked as a continuation of nice cooperation, and the students brought nice experiences from a visit to a unique cultural institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
