SEEDIG Youth School 2026

Dear all,
Applications are now open for the SEEDIG Youth School 2026, a unique opportunity for university students and young professionals to build their knowledge of internet governance and digital policy while connecting with peers and experts from across South Eastern Europe.
The 2026 edition consists of two parts:
An online Internet Governance Course (September 2026), developed and moderated by the Internet Society, covering the fundamentals of internet governance, digital policy, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and the multistakeholder model.
An in-person Youth School on 12 November 2026 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, featuring interactive workshops, expert discussions, and networking opportunities. Participants will also attend the SEEDIG 11 Meeting on 13–14 November 2026.
Who can apply?
Applicants should:
Be 18–30 years old;
Be a university student or young professional;
Be fluent in English;
Be from one of the 18 SEEDIG region countries;
Demonstrate an interest in internet governance, digital policy, or related fields;
Be available to complete the online course in September and travel to Sarajevo in November.
What is covered?
Selected participants will receive:
Free access to the Internet Society's Internet Governance Course;
Full coverage of travel, accommodation, and meals for the Youth School and SEEDIG 11 Meeting;
Two certificates upon successful completion of the programme;
Membership in the growing SEEDIG community;
Opportunities to network with regional and international experts and policymakers;
Potential endorsement letters for future fellowship applications;
Subject to final budget approval, selected participants may also have the opportunity to attend the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) in Nairobi.
